Reducing Startup List

Hello,

Just did a factory restore after running clean XP since first getting my thinkpad(T42P), just being lazy and like the idea of just being able to use the restore function. Notice the list that shows up on startup is ridiculously long, many of which are IBM. Can anyone please tell me which ones I can safely remove from startup and maybe what that are? I did some searches with no results, maybe bad keywords.
