I was having some problems with m T41 screen (14.1 SXGA+), white spots showing up on the bottom portion of the screen. I purchased the 3 year onsite support.
I called IBM and the sent someone onsite the next day. He (Mark) called me a few hours prior to arrange a time to meet. I had him come to my workplace. he came with a brand new (not refurbished) LCD. 2 People showed up to fix the problem. It took him about 3 1/2 hours to replace the screen, but he was very meticulous.
The screen now works great and has no dead/stuck pixels etc.
Just wanted to share my positive experience....
Regards.
