What kind of string do you use as floss :) ?

edit: Wow, man.... flashback to the late '60s when I listen to those vids. Keep up the good work. Gotta show these to my youngest daughter (flute, guitar, now drums (!!!) ). Do you give lessons?

Mike, that is some serious talent....not to mention humor! :)

I had to read one of them several times before I got it through my head that you were doing it with your *teeth* (I still want to know how)

Although, recently, I have found videos like this to be quite entertaining. :D

Playing with the teeth is hard but it gives a definate unique sound when the strings are plucked with the teeth, the left hand does a little magic also but it really is being plucked with the teeth.

I could give virtual lessons to anyone interested :)

My goal is to try and get the teeth playing video on the front page of youtube, I hate that the quality is so poor.

Hey, is that Mike on the radio right now (98.5 KUFX San Jose)?? Hmm... maybe that's him, or maybe it's Jimi. "Little Wing" (SRV version) is playing as I am entering this.

I guess I'll have to start up a YouTube membership now!

Took a couple of minutes, but I finally got the e-mail confirmation message. I'll see if I can get my daughters to pump up your ratings Mike!

Chris, in order to pluck the strings I have to hold the guitar at just the right angle to the upper front two teeth, the proper string is plucked and the left hand will hammer or pull the strings to add to the effect of playing a fast regular lead run. It used to get a lot of tips at clubs, and the chicks really dig it for some reason or another :??: .

THANKS A LOT YOU GUYS!!! :) :)

One night at a club that was a serious hole in the wall, I went into that solo and when my lip touched the strings (you use your bottom lip to mute the other strings) I saw stars because they obviously had no ground or a hot ground, and I got quite a good shock, never forget that one.

Thanks tom!

To outdo Mike, you would need to play the drum with your nose.

Thanks for cheering me up with this post. I feel very uncomfortable after drinking too much coffee yesterday evening till now.

Reading all member's posts help to cheer me up and i am typing while lying down on my bed. I hoped my thinkpad won't get fried from overheating. :-(
