Perhaps I am the only one but I find the Thinkpad software utilites extremely bothersome. Use the CPU, take up tray space and don't pass any settings to Windows (so I have to duplicate them there).
Can I uninstall them in one swoop or is it perhaps not a good idea?
Will the X60t explode if I uninstall all the Think*** utils?
well I did a clean windows install without any ibm drivers or programs, so I'd say there should be no problem. IBM drivers aren't recommend to uninstall but programs is ok. Those programs are just to help you use the laptop, but those such as message centers or presentation directors are rarely used, at least not by me.
I love thinkpads
