I've been curious about the *61's too. My X60s is already 7 months old, its about time for an upgrade.

I'm guessing the new chipset will warrant a bump to *61 (I'm actually surprised the C2D didn't).

Yeah, me too. Especially when you see how very small upgrades warranted a jump from T40 to T41.

2, I am on 4 years....and I still feel guilty. It still works well, just not with VMWare.

I would say April or May when Santa Rosa and the T7700 ship. there are enough changes (Robson, EFI, Kedron, etc.) to warrant the bump in model number.
