New system board...

Today, the little piece of plastic inside one of my t41p's usb ports broke off. This is the piece of plastic that stablizes the USB connector while it's in the port.

I checked the HMM, and it looks as if the USB module is affixed to the system board. In other words, they cant just pop it off and put on a new one...they have to replace the whole system board. What do you think the odds are of them giving me a new system board, or do you think they would take the time and re-solder another set of usb ports?

If you send it in they will just replace the board.
They won't resolder the parts.

What do you think the turnaround time be like for something like this?

Generaly: say 3 days
You send it in say on a monday you will usually get it back on wednesday.
