Today, the little piece of plastic inside one of my t41p's usb ports broke off. This is the piece of plastic that stablizes the USB connector while it's in the port.
I checked the HMM, and it looks as if the USB module is affixed to the system board. In other words, they cant just pop it off and put on a new one...they have to replace the whole system board. What do you think the odds are of them giving me a new system board, or do you think they would take the time and re-solder another set of usb ports?
