OK. T60 WS WSXGA+ SAMSUNG vs LG

#1 Post by ibm meister » Thu Feb 15, 2007 1:33 am

So, how bad is ihe Samsung? If I get a crummy screen, as Ihave gotten on Think Pads before, EPP willNOT allow open returns. Can I tell outside the box? Should I return it. Is the LG really that much better. Is even the LG worth it.

1) you could get a Flexview screen and avoid the issue.

2) if you know the serial number of the system you will be getting you can check the parts that was used to build it at this link:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... yle=lenovo

Then copy and paste the FRU number for the LCD into the search box, and it will come up with a part listing. Search for the FRU on that page and you will find the manufacturer of the LCD.
