Wanted a Thinkpad S30.

#1 Post by Bobdare » Thu Feb 15, 2007 9:12 am

I love the looks of this S30 and would like to have one. I've seen a guide on how to buy one from Yahoo Japan, but I'd rather get one from here. Anyone has one for sale? PMs are welcome, or you can post the specs, price and shipping details here.

Thank You

The S30 is extremely rare in the States, and fairly rare even in Japan. If you see one with a good price on a Japanese site, you should grab it immediately. I have seen only one S30 for sale on this forum. It was sold for around $500US I think.

I'm going to say that unless you have a ThinkPad museum, an X40 will best an S30.

Pentium M, fast WiFi, USB 2.0, SD reader, 1/2 pound lighter, same price.

You can send the cover to www.metalfaceplates.com for a piano black finish.

Worth considering.

I really like the design of the s30 more. Interesting link though, can I do the same to my t60? Thanks.

I think the T60 lid is a possiblity. If you do it post pix and info.

Here is the thread regarding my yellow lid. I just ordered a Lamborghini decal, like the Asus Lamborghini model!
