3G cards & similar

#1 Post by andrewb » Thu Feb 15, 2007 8:59 pm

I am a relative newbie on Linux, so please be gentle !

I am trialling Ubuntu and Xandros (the latter, being most Windoze -like) is probably my current favourite, on an X41.

But, with neither distro, can I get my Option Globetrotter 3G UMTS Fusion card to work. I am in the UK, where the card is badged by T-Mobile under the web n' walk banner, but it is clear that the card itself is generic and is rebadged in many countries, and by many service providers.

I can find a small selection of posts on the net which seem to address the issue, but nothing which I can understand or get to resolve my problem.

Might anyone here be offer any words of wisdom please ?

Any guidance would be gratefully received.

Thanks.
