Z60m CDRs not read by G5 Mac
Z60m CDRs not read by G5 Mac
Has anyone else has this issue? My Z60m has a MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-830SX which burns CDRs fine with the Sonic Software. But the Superdrive on my G5 running the latest update on OS X 10.3.9 can't read them. I find this odd, as the Superdrive reads most stuff burnt from PCs. I've tried the 'make compatible' button, but it still won't read. Any similar issues?
You might try using different media and see if that makes a difference. It also may depend on what type of CD you are trying to make. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_di ... ding_modes , and also look at the links under Standards at the right of the above page.
