Exclude wireless networks

#1 Post by ramcelroy » Fri Feb 16, 2007 6:13 pm

Is there any way to prevent AC from connecting to certain wireless networks. When I connect wirelessly at home, AC will sometimes connect to my neighbor's network even though my signal strenght is stronger. Can I exclude other networks based on the MAC of the Access Point?

I set a profile for my Home Network, and I set ALL profiles to disconnect when switching to a different location. I also uncheck all profiles except my Home Wireless and Wired profiles. So it tries nothing except my home stuff. Everything else, including clients is manual, and I have very few problems (almost none) so I find this way to be convenient. ... JD Hurst
