Upgrading my T21 to a T23

I want to upgrade my T21 to a T23, basically I have found the base, which includes the bottom case of the Laptop, with the 1gig CPU, I was wondering if I can put my T21 top and keyboard and LCD to the base?

I'm almost positive the T21 and the T23 use the same keyboard and LCD.

Keyboards are interchangable between the T20, T21, T22 and T23. The only difference (as far as I know) is the plastic nameplate next to the power button. It can be removed so if you want "upgrade" or "downgrade" your system you can.

The LCDs can be swapped between the systems as long as you use the proper video ribbon (flex) cable for the panel. If you switch the entire lid assembly (lid cover, LCD, ribbon cable, inverter, bezel, etc.), that should be the easiest. According to the Hardware Maintenance Manual (HMM), there are supposed to be different LCD lids for T20/T21 and T22/T23 but I have swapped an SXGA+ panel and cable out of a T21 into a T23 lid before, so I don't know what the actual differences are.
