Making a recoverable DVD Disk

#1 Post by agarza » Sun Feb 18, 2007 10:54 am

Hi Guys.

I'm selling my old T30, since I don't have the recovery disks, is there a program + a guide that shows how to clone the entire C content to a bootable DVD so that it recovers the machine to all the content I installed? I suppose I will be needing the Ultrabay 2nd HDD Adapter .

I used to do this often by saving C: to a ghost or acronis image and then burn a bootable (DOS) DVD-R with the image on it using Nero. The bootable DOS image needs to have appropriate drivers for IDE optical drive.

Which piece of software is easier to use to make an image of the entire C drive? I can backup the image on a USB 2.0 disk or on the Ultrabay disk.
