I think I did a "dummy"...

#1 Post by joester » Mon Feb 19, 2007 9:56 pm

While preparing for a long road trip, I opted not to take the DVD player with the two screens, since it was maybe 10 degrees outside and I didn't want to deal with the wires. Instead, I made a simple wooden base to sit between the back seat of our Escape and the center console. On it sits my T21. 1200 miles later, the kids are thanking me for the "new awesome DVD player".

How do I get out of this one without giving up the peace?

Have a word with Ray Kawakami, he may be willing to sell you one of his many T23s, to fill the emptiness on your desk!

Reduce the total RAM to only 64MB so that the laptop can no longer play DVDs well. Your kids will then switch back to the dedicated DVD player.

That sounds like a plan! Or run the BSOD screen saver...not that they'll know what it means...

Turbo Audi has the plan!!!! 8)

I choked on my muffin when I read his post...

Maybe I could arrange to lose them at Disney?

Joe

BTW: My son knows the BSOD well. He learned the hard way about "just clicking stuff" when he was 5. Deleting the windows folder will give you the BSOD for sure.
