System Update 3.0 / Thinkvantage Prod Center upgrade...

Two questions:

1. I was wondering is there any benefits of upgrading to the System Update 3.0 and Thinkvantage Prod too? Seems like the upgrade is for compatibility with Vista but about the rest I don't know...

2. Since I have to remove the old versions first before installing the new version... then does that mean all previous upgrades/settings will be erased?

No it remembers everything. No harm to upgrade.

Seems like a major hassle in upgrading all of the modules ie. CSS 8.0, rescue and recovery 4.0, system upgrade 3.0 etc... I f i am going to use xp for some time is there a benefit to upgrade now?

Just upgrade what you need/want!

Don't uninstall System Upgrade, just run the install of V3 and let it handle it.
