Hi! The only problem with cd-rw software is Nero 6. You will probably need to get the nero63125 update from Ahead software to be compliant with Win XP SP2.

Don't like Nero...I use IBM's RecordNow. It is far superior in my opinion. When you say "CD Reading" program, I'm not sure what you're talking about. If you mean, InCD, that is by far my least favorite program as is DLA. I uninstalled them and use Panasonic's program that adds or takes away files from DVD-RAM with drag-and-drop. I use PowerDVD to view DVD's because I also don't like WinDVD...I uninstalled it too. No problem with these programs with SP2.

RecordNow works great with SP2. I wish it could use formats other than ISO and GI, like BIN.

Nero works like a champ. Its all i use for burning with the exception for Fireburner for bin/cue files. Nero is more for advance burning needs, RecordNow is nice but very basic and simple.

I belive that's the same one I have. If you can only find the "update," and so install doesn't work because a previous version is not installed to update, then let me know with a PM. I have version 3.0.5 and the upgrade to it (V4.0.1). I can zip either file and send it to you. Problem is that the upgrade file, even zipped is 2.4MB. Version 3.0.5 zipped is 1.7MB.

On second thought it appears that the only thing on the Panasonic site is the updates. You'll need the original drivers program. It's 1.7MB. Just IM me with your email address and I'll be glad to email it to you.
