R60 and R&R process - NEED HELP !!!

#1 Post by masterus » Thu Feb 22, 2007 3:20 pm

Hi

My friend has R60 , He needs to recover system to factory settings.
Tried to recover using recovery disks.
But He got info that: "X:\Recovery\Utility\convert.cmd" is missing :!:
What he can do :?:
Is copying that file from other laptop using USB-Memory-Stick an option :?:
I'd like to say that disks work on his other R60.
Need help :!: :!: :!:
I'd be gratefull for any infos.

Probably there was an error when the discs were burned. You can use the recovery partition to restore to factory settings. To do that, you need to press the blue ThinkVantage button after power on. Sometimes you need to press F11 after.
