Rescue and Recovery 4 Visual c++ error

when it started after succesful install it says
Microsoft Visual C++ RUtime library

Program c:\program files\lenovo\rescue and recovery\rrservice.exe

abnormal program termination

any ideas?

Did you uninstall the previous version of Rescue and Recovery before upgrading to the new version? Do you have CSS installed?

I had removed CSS because I could not update from 7 to 8 kept getting errors. then i followed instructions on which to install first css or rr. i had a problem booting for some reason and had to go back to last known good so i reinstalled (repaired)rr and rebooted and so far it is ok. will have to check if it comes back or not
