has anyone got NHC working on vista yet?

#1 Post by skanky » Fri Feb 23, 2007 1:25 am

been looking around for a fix (anything!) to get NHC working with vista as i want to ditch xp on my main machine but cant stand the fans on the t60 and want to be able to control them like i do with NHC.

so far the OS has been out for a month and no word or "quick patch" from the author of NHC.

tried RM clock but that crashes every time i start up so not ideal.

Hi

There is no go with NHC on vista. The driver is not working, so there aren't any special settings to get it to work. Manni (the author of NHC) will release an update soon to fix this and a lot of other things. (He wrote until end of this week, but he isn't always on time).

as long as a vista version (that lets me use my acpi profile) in in the works, that'll do me. :)

Quote from Manni:

Hallo,

erscheint ;-)

lg manni
Essentially he hopes to have a Vista-Version ready by the end of the week. The changes in Vista like Aero, ACPI and Powermanagement slowed him down severely and he had to do things for the university.
