#1 Post by masterus » Fri Feb 23, 2007 4:10 pm

Hi

I'm going to replace my keyboard in my T43.
But I saw ,there are 3 makers:
1) NMB
2) ALPS
3) Chicony

Which keyboard should I order :?:
Need advice :!:

Thank you :!:

NMB (Thailand), ALPS (China), and Chicony (Taiwan)

I would suggest you better go for the NMB (thai). :-)

The newer NMBs are made in China as well.

I would advise the OP to remove his T43 keyboard and use that to order his new keyboard. My T41p, T60, R52, R60 keyboards are made from NMB (thai).

T30 and X60 keyboards are from chicony.

R52 keyboards are made from either Chicony, Alps or NMB.

Mine was delivered with Chicony.

Got it exchanged for an NMB - made in China. Not as good as made in Thailand.
