T60 (not) thicker than T4x

#1 Post by gator » Sat Feb 24, 2007 3:12 am

I have not compared the 15" T60 and T43 in person, but I always thought they were close in terms of thickness. After looking at the excellent pics at http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=38212 by mybellyisempty, I am surprised to see the difference the "curved" base of the T4x makes - the T60 seems to be quite thick in comparison, when actually they are close. Do people owning both these models actually else notice this difference?
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

Rules of the road :thumbs-UP:

I just uploaded six photos to my Yahoo album showing my current 14.1" T60 and my former 14.1" T43 together. They look virtually identical in terms of thickness.
