I recently bought a 1G RAM from NewEgg.com. Plugged into my T41. The computer couldn't boot and gave out alarm. Same specs but didn't work. So, I unplugged the ram and reboot the computer. The computer still couldn't boot and gave out alarm code of 0189, invalid RFID configuration information area. Then I changed the boot method from normal to diagnostic. It still gives out the alarm and code. However, the machine is bootable now.
So, does any of you experts know how to get rid of the problem?
Thanks
