Dimmer display on a battery?

#1 Post by animefreak » Mon Sep 20, 2004 6:34 pm

Why is it that my screen is more dimmer when I use my battery compare to useing the AC cord? Can I adjust a setting or something? If so how do I go about doing it? :?:

you can adjust the behavior of the display dimm in the configuration utility.
for the thinkpad 600 just go here and download it:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... IGR-4ZFRG3

then start the utility, go in the menu-bar to "display->LCD" and you'll see an option "Brightness when running on Batteries".
Normal - means dimmed
High - means bright as with the AC on

hope thats the Info u needed,

Cheers
