T60 Fingerprint Reader plus USB Fingerprint reader

Hi there,

I got a T60 with build-in Fingerprint reader and also got the Lenovo USB keyboard with Fingerprint reader. Both FP readers are getting detected in the Fingerprint control panel but still the control center doesn't allow me to use the FP reader in the USB keyboard. Might not be a Vista only issue but I haven't tried under XP yet. FPS is version 5.6.

Anybody using a similar config and seeing the same issue?

I'm pretty sure that there is an option for that in the BIOS where you can designate which one of the FP readers you use.

The Security -> Fingerprint Reader menu in the BIOS allows you to set whether the internal reader gets priority or the external reader gets priority.

That's it, works like a dream after changing the priority in BIOS.
