My T41p is hanging :(

I've had my T41p since the second week of this past March.. I've been too busy to check into this problem..

Whenever I switch users through XP Pro's fast user switching, about 75% of the time the laptop hangs at the login screen for the user I'm switching to. It just sits there saying "Loading personal settings...." and does nothing.

I can't imagine what this is.. Anyone have this problem? I run Zone AlarmPro and Norton AV, I know those are two intrusive apps but could they be responsible, or could it be a hardware/driver interference issue?

[censored] I was hoping I would find someone with a similar problem. I hope its a software config issue and not the hardware.. no takers on this?
