Oh yeah ... mine is not creative at all ... I think many moons ago AT&T told me that "tomh" was taken and suggested "tomh009". With the great Deathstar itself telling me that, what choice did I have?

Stargate SG-1 is my #2 favorite TV show, after "Late Night with Conan". I just re-re-re-rewatched the first 8 episodes of Season 4. What does "199" mean? And how do you like Stargate Atlantis?

How do you post two quotes from different people in the same reply? This is the 2nd time today I have made 2 posts when I could have made one! F.

When you go to the posting screen, scroll down to the post you want to quote from (in case you missed it, there are 2 scroll bars on the right side). Put the cursor at the beginning of the quote you want to pull, hold the left mouse button down and drag the cursor over the text you want to copy to highlight it, then release the left mouse button once all the desired text is highlighted. Right click on the highlighted text and choose copy. Move the cursor to where you want to paste the text, press the right mouse button and choose paste.

Once this is done, highlight the text the same way and click on the Quote button at the top of the posting screen. Next, to add the quoted poster's user name, edit the first quote command like this by adding an equals sign and two double-quotes:

You can also open another browser tab with the thread you want to quote from and use the same copy/paste commands as above.

199 is just a number I made up. 100 and 200 were taken on AIM when I signed up, so I chose that. I like Stargate Atlantis a lot. I just wondering what direction they are taking the show. It seems like most of the episodes have been filler to me, but they have been pretty good.
I have finally rejoined the dark side.

I got mine sort of by accident. I was trying to sign up for an email account several years ago (or maybe it was Pakmail), and everything I tried came back taken, even things like SneakinUp, OverAndUnder, UnderAchiever, etc. I kept getting recommendations to add numbers to the requested username, so I could be something like UnderAchiever1443. This made me more and more determined, so I just tried more and more stuff. I was almost ready to settle for ZippySnake or RandyPanda when, for God knows why, I tried "SafeHarbor" and it was accepted.

I am NOT the lowercase "safeharbor" of ebay, so don't think that's me if you go a-Goggling.

Correct...didn't realize that you could find the answer by googling...I guess I will have to google again (which I do to my own name quite often)

EDIT: Darn...just realized that my MySpace page is showing up. (Blame my sister)

I think Google may have corrected this horror, but two years ago if you Googled a name (yours or anyones) it would come up with the phone number for that person and a link to a map showing their house!! Talk about a stalker's dream; there was a way to take your name off of Google for that. I don't think you can do that type of search anymore.

That wouldn't have worked for me...normally, I am very low key. I generally don't have any identifying factors posted about myself...until this forum....guess i got comfortable with you guys...

My friend back in cincy works at a restaurant called Skyline Chili(best chili on the planet) and they sell shirts there with the nickname for spaghetti=skitty. So skitty and the rest is pretty much self explanatory.

Ah, yes. Haven't been there much. Audiworld is the most active, though with awful forum software. Fourtitude is more professional, but has fewer readers (though tons in the VW sections). And audifans mailing lists are very good for older Audis (the archives start way back in 1991!).

Got my first TP in 2005 and had no major problems with it. Always had a wired internet-connection with it.

Then my T42p came and I went wireless.....with a Hotbrick router....
and the problems came....
Searching for solutions to all my wireless 'problems' I discovered this great forum :thumbs-UP: ......

The words Hotbrick/router/wireless/connection/no connection were hammered into my head and I had to register fast to get my questions answered........

And you guys did answer them!!
Wireless is great now......without the Hotbrick router though.....
