remove ati catalyst control center option in file menu?

remove ati catalyst control center option in file menu?

in an explorer menu, when i hit the file menu, the first option is for ati catalyst control center, why is this there? why would anyone want it there?
most importantly, how do i remove it?

I also have this problem. I'm not sure when it came about, there must have been an automatica update that installed.

Any solutions, yet?

Can you uninstall the catalyst control centre from "add/remove programs"?

If you want to get rid of that ATI entry on all folder context menus, just remove this key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\ACE

greeaaat!

i had to re install ccc for some small monitor color calibration tweaks, so glad to get rid of the context menu!
