I've noticed recently that when I have password manager running with the Firefox plugin, that Firefox sometimes loads pages very slowly. When I disabled Password Manager through CSS, the slow page load problem went away.
I'm running Vista on a T43 (2 MHz) with 2GB. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Is my T43 just too slow to run Password Manager? It ran fine on XP.
Password Manager Slows Firefox
Does it always happen, or only when you open a new web page by submitting a form ?
Because from what I know, PM only detects forms submitting, parses the page, detects fields, but only checks after that if you have already configured PM not to show on that page before. Then, if PM is not yet optimized for Vista, it could explain the speed issue.
