T21 Bios/Power On Password bypass

Hi there..hopefully this has not been covered elsewhere.... I just got an old T21 for my wife , who went back to school, from her sister..problem is there is a Bios/pweron password that noone seems to remember... has anyone run accross this before and any ideas what I can do ?

The T21 seems to be in good working order and I would hate to dump it and have to buy another one for my wife...hope someone can help

There are three passwords which you may encounter on the T21:

- power on
- BIOS
- hard drive

The T2x Hardware Maintenance Manual contains information on how to remove the first one. The BIOS and hard drive passwords are normally the same, but they can be set with different passwords. Details on how to bypass them are not allowed by the rules of this forum.
