Weird wirless network

Hi,

When i keep moving around everywhere i keep seeing this weird wireless network named comfort. it is an unsecured wireless network between another pc. I think its coming from my pc cause its always around whether i am in work or at home. How do i disable wireless pc to pc connections on my notebook and how do i tell if that network is from my computer?

Yes, I know what you mean, check your wireless manager, on a linksys card it's on the first tab of the manager and is for computer to computer connections, I *think* it kind of turns you card/LT into a WAP. There was a laptop at work that was setup this way till someone sat on it the other day. I only noticed it when I fired it up to see if I could get a wireless signal on the train I was on, drove me nuts for about an hour till I figured it out.

wait wait i don't have a linksys card i am using the intel wireless on my x60s where do i find this defiant wireless network. (and also why the ^%&^ is it called comfort)
