What T43P type do I have?

#1 Post by dyoes » Sun Mar 11, 2007 6:49 pm

I upgraded my mobo from a T41 to a T43P, Im trying to figure out what type my mobo might be, is there anyway to tell through the bios?

Im thinking its a 2668 or 2678 but I dont know what the difference between any of the types are. Does the type mean what comes included on the laptop?

I believe you still have a T41 not a T43p. :)

Question, when you run software installer do it ask for the machine type? :??:
X32/2.0GHZ/2GB/ENGENIUS EMP-8602+S 600mw mini pci/WD 250GB
X60/1.83GHZ/2GB/Atheros/7K100

What does the BIOS say? System-Unit serial number.

Did you ever resolve the id issue. I have the same problem (No serial number in the BIOS) and am struggling to identify exactly what Thinkpad I have?

Thanks
