Is it easy to keep the T42 cover looking good?
Is it easy to keep the T42 cover looking good?
My A20p had a titanium cover which was extremely strong but terrible to keep looking good. How is the top of the T42 does it also show every little blemish or is it easy to keep looking good?

It's really wierd, but despite the fact that I don't have the latest Icelandic keyboard, or a screen made from reprocessed carrot skins, my T42 which I USE every day, seems to have kept it's looks - I just brush off the dust with a large paintbrush (made from ecological sound hair) from time to time and it looks, well, like a laptop.
I haven't noticed any undue squeaking or flex - oh sorry, I've jumped a bit there - I was referring to the girlfriend - but as yet haven't plucked up the courage to try painting her tongue with nail polish remover (I can't remember which certified loony suggested that)

*ahem* That would be me. And my wife is still [censored] at you, Ian.
On the topic (or off it, depending on what we're talking about), the cover of my X40 seems to show blemishes from my greasy hands a lot quicker than my old R32, but then again I'm actually carrying this thing around a hell of a lot more.

The rubberized laminate on top of the magnesium casing seems like it would scratch easily (and my T40 does have a few scratches, but very minor), but after a year and a half of use, it still looks pretty good to me.
I wouldn't worry about it.
