Future X series question

Hi, i was reading on the T60 forum that all T-line thinkpads are moving to a widescreen format because of availability problems with the 4:3 screens. Does anyone know if and when this will be happing to the X series? Thanks.

That thread is the only new info, and it suggested that all ThinkPads are going to 8:5 displays, and soon. But we have no independent confirmation so far.

Ok thanks, i ask because i'm waiting on buying a laptop untill closer to this coming fall when i go to college and have been seriously considering an x60. I guess i just wish i had a better idea of what i'm waiting for!

I've got to buy this week. A widescreen, ultra-portable would be NICE!
