Florida has a good team and they deserved to win, I would have liked to see Ohio State hit a couple shots and make the game a little closer. The Buckeyes could not have had a much worse shooting day, especially from three-point range.
The Gators are worthy champs though. You don't win back to back NCAA basketball titles by blind luck.

My thoughts exactly, ronbo.

I was just hoping that Ohio would actually hit some three pointers, and not just in the final minutes of the game. I initially rooted against Florida since Noah seemed annoying (based on appearance only, just like I didn't like Adam Morrison and his little 'stache).

I had a change of heart and realized, though the score made it easier to fathom, that Florida truly did deserve to win, and was the absolute best team.

As a young man that age, how bad must it feel to go all the way to the national championship and have your shooting be cold as ice?
I've been an amateur athlete all my live and I've learned you adjust to winning very easily, the real lessons in sports(and life in general) are learned at the short end of the score.

I also find Joakim Noah annoying, and it's not based on appearance. His " us against the world " shtick gets tiring pretty quickly.

you know how i feel about the buckeyes being as thats my home state and everything, but Florida deserved to win. My fondest memory will be watching Oden totally own 3 different bodies they put under the basket. He played over 30 minutes in the game and without a doubt owned, oh and he's a freshman..... yea too bad they shot pathetically horrible. Oden finally has his break out game in what possibly could have been an AWESOME game, but the rest of the team doesn't show up. congrats gators, job well done
