loose battery issue?

Hi - I just got a new t60 after four years of a t40 and am very happy with it. The only problem that's bothering me is when I put it in standby and carry it around for awhile, the computer sometimes ends up powered off when I take it out of its case. This is very gentle carrying around -- and I had a t40 for a long time and never experienced this problem. It's a 9-cell battery, with 15" screen. Has anyone else had similar problems? Should I complain to Lenovo, or is there another fix? In the meantime I've been using hibernate instead of suspend, but suspend is a lot more convenient for short trips, as hibernating with 3GB of RAM takes 40+ seconds.

a piece of tape seems to have made the battery more secure. i'll try suspending a few times over the next few days and let you know how it works. thanks for the advice!
