T42 for 1 dollar on ebay

Just came across a T42 for sale on Ebay. Its in Australia so unless you live there shipping will probably cost a fair bit. Right now it is going for a dollar though. Ends in 4 days so will go up but you never know how much.

In Australia the $1 starting price on laptops is not unusual. With the SXGA+ though, I'd certainly be eyeing it off if I could afford it.

If you want to get it for as little money as possible, don't place a bid until the final 20 seconds. If you bid too early, that would cause other bidders to bid higher.

Good machine, if i was not too far away from Australia, i would give it a try.

Better to have some photos of the laptop.
