Error Burning DVD Image

#1 Post by Petekilla » Sat Mar 17, 2007 8:30 pm

I am running into an error burning DVD Image of Kubuntu.

Never had an issue before, however powerISO is giving me an error (Burning Error -109) and InfraRecorder is also giving me error.

I was able to make a data disc of the full image, however it will not burn it as an image....I went through and ran all updates

However, still not resolved

Is anyone else running into this problem? Anyone offer any help?

Do you have a copy of Nero? That is what I use to do all my burning with. I have used magicISO in the past, but only to open the ISO and verify it.

yeah, but i dont use it...

I tried using a DVD-R, and it worked no problem. It would not burn to a DVD-RW though.

Ahh...

glad you got it sorted then. I do not use RW media for burning anything. The cost is more and it's quicker for me to just burn another disc than to try and erase 4.7GB from optical media.
