A Thinkpad 365xd .Will this laptop take a 64 meg EDO 144pin ram chip?
I'm asking for a buddy.

Yes it will, but you need to update the BIOS to the latest version. If you don't already have the latest BIOS, you'd need a good battery to update. Make sure you can do the update before purchasing a 64MB stick.

Yes. Mine has 72MB total and 6.4GB drive running WIN98SE. Don't use it much but it's there if I need it.

I have 96Mb in mine right now. I'm actually looking for a cheap 128Mb stick to see if I can get it to take that.
