usb docking station issue

I have a thinkpad t60p and when docked, occasionally, my usb mouse will stop working. To 'recover' my mouse, I have to unplug its usb connection from the docking station and plug it back it.

Any ideas?

As an idea you could check the power management settings in device driver manager under the usb-root settings.

Disabling the power management on the mouse usb-port could solve this problem.

hmm, thanks. I never knew the USB ports were under Power management.
I will give it a try
