Setting up a t23 with windows 2000 with dual monitor setup?

#1 Post by fefrie » Tue Mar 20, 2007 9:44 pm

I just got a used LCD monitor lying around. I though that I would try to get a dual monitor set up to double my onscreen workspace.

I've got it set up now so that it basically mirrors what's on the laptop screen, but is there a program or switch I can use to run a dual monitor setup? I know you can do it with winxp, but I'd rather keep my win2k setup.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all!

First check to make sure that you have the latest drivers.

I ran into a similar Problem on my xp machine because of over looking that simple thing!

Second I think that the t23 uses a S3 video card if so you can try this tweak that I used to enable dual display with my s-video port.

Type S3 tweak into google look for 3dcenter.org link Its third up from the bottom!

Hope this helps.
