Different Temperature reading shown for Core duo
1. T43 2668-B97 14" SXGA+ 1.5G RAM 9cells
2. X60s 1703-CA3 powerful
2. X60s 1703-CA3 powerful
I don't think seeing different temperatures on the two processor cores should be an issue - it is common to see one of the dual core processors taking on a slightly heavier load than the other - it is impossible to balance the load on each processor to 50% all the time.
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU
Rules of the road

well, after rebooting, it was equally distributed load to these duo core. this big temperature difference phenomena only happen after boot up from standby.gator wrote:I don't think seeing different temperatures on the two processor cores should be an issue - it is common to see one of the dual core processors taking on a slightly heavier load than the other - it is impossible to balance the load on each processor to 50% all the time.
i did update this "WindowsXP-KB896256-v4-x86-ENU" by comparing its behaviour and vice-versa.
to no avail, temperature still become a big gap after booting up from standby

Can I simply swap out my T5500 CPU in my 1953CTO T60 with a T5600? Or my T2400 core duo in my 2623D6U T60?
