R&R and Client solution: shoud I upgrade ?

#1 Post by thibouille27 » Wed Mar 21, 2007 2:12 pm

I know a couple months ago, new version (R&R 4 and CS7 I beleive) came and were quite bogus to say the least.

What is the situation now? Should I stay R&R3/CS6 or upgrade ?

I'm using X60 with XP pro. Just did a revert to factory install.

:::

Yes, you should.

Remove your old R&R & CSS first, then install the
new version.

Both New R&R & CSS are less bogus & clearer.
the new R&R backup faster after the base backup!

P.S.: Don't forget the new Finger Print App as well!

Unless you have used the CSS private disk feature, which is no longer available in the new version. If you have private disks you will lose access to them after upgrading - but if you just did a factory restor you probably don't have any.

No, no I don't care about private disk. At least I swon't need it for quiet a time so it's not a problem.

Thanks !
