Fastest CD/DVD R/W for the 600X UltraBay?

LiteOn makes a model SOLC-2481K. Speed is 24X-24X CD / 24X-8X DVD. Writes CDs and DVDs.

Anyone know, is this the fastest CD/DVD R/W drive we can install in the UltraBay for the 600X???

That sounds like the fastest that I'm aware of. Some of the CDRW/DVD combo drives (not a DVD burner) that I've installed in the 600X and T23 are 24x/24x/10x (CD).

Ah.. checking a little further online it looks like this particular model does NOT write DVDs. Here's the data from Lite-On IT US web site:
