Does the T41 have the BIOS lock for mPCI cards?

#1 Post by kid8 » Wed Mar 21, 2007 5:57 pm

hi, I know the newer laptops have the Bios lock, but does the T41 have it as well? I am looking to put this card into it but don't want to ruin my warranty. Thanks.

Yes your T41 has a white list for the cards it won't work.

But it can work if you apply the no 1801 hack.

They will not notice it, just keep the original card and in case you have to send the machine for repair reinstall the old card.
