X60 screen profiles using Colorvision Spyder 2

#1 Post by andyto » Sun Mar 25, 2007 12:37 am

Follow x60 users, I have just profile my screen using a colorvision Spyder 2, and would like to share them with the community.

Download using the link below. It contains 8 different file with different settings. You can load the profile using Microsoft's new color applet, available in download centre. Feel free to comment.

I haven't bothered calibrating my X60, but I do calibrate my desktop monitor. Even with the same monitor, the calibrations will vary over time as the monitor ages. Andy's files are a nice gesture, and they might improve color accuracy on your screen, but true accuracy requires placing a colorimeter on your own screen.
