R32 Second Battery

Purchased an Ultrabay battery for a friends R32. The one that replaces the DVD drive.

The friend is in the Canaries, I'm in the UK why did he not fit it when we were there!! He has advised via Skype that when he puts the Ultrabay battery in the place of the DVD. the computer recognises it as a drive.

If he looks on the battery management it says there are two batteries in place. The normal and the Ultrabay battery

Does anyone know if the second battery will charge, will it affect the first battery and have they had this problem before.

I will look at the Lenvo site for new drivers.

I noticed that the new Bios file has a battery fix in it and there is a battery maximiser, powermanagemt update in the file download area for the R32
