T60 WS Flickers after reboot and after resume from hibernate

Any ideas? its not a big deal but I spend 1500 on this computer

And the battery hangs at 96!

I've been having some issues with Vista standby on my T60. It's slow to suspend, and there are some minor power management problems when coming back to life. Are you running Vista as well?

Try running your battery down about halfway, and then start charging it. It should go up to 100% after that. Stopping at 96% is a design feature intended (I believe) to eliminate excess charge cycles.
