Fingerprint reader software stores outdated password

So my network policy has my password expire every couple months. I change my password but the fingerprint reader software seems to have cached my old password and doesn't properly authenticate me.

Anyway suggestions on how to sync up the password stored by the fingerprint reader?

You have to update the password in the fingerprint scanner program.
