T60 Warrenty, parts replacement & return

Hi,

I just want to know if anyone have experience a case where you received a replacement on a certain part of the thinkpad (upon a call to tech-support), and you have to send in your defective unit.

Upon receiving the deflective unit, is there a chance for IBM/Lenovo to inquire with you that your detective unit was caused by a misuse? and you actually have to pay for the replacement part?

I have had to send in defective parts in the past, have never been asked if it was due to misuse. When the send the new part they will send a return label, you have 30 days to return the part or you will get a couple of letters requesting payment for the item.
