S-video output help T30

#1 Post by tiger24 » Tue Mar 27, 2007 8:34 pm

Hello,

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem before but I am unable to view any videos when i hookup the s-video cable to my tv. I can see every thing else including the interface of the program yet there is just a blank screen where the video is supposed to be. I have been searching the forums with no luck so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Stephan

You need to go into "display properties--> settings-->advanced" when the TV is connected and powered on and then enable the S video output.

i'm able to get the s-video output working. But when I try to play a video, it does not show up on the tv. I can see the outline of the media player, but no video.

You need to set up your TV as your main display screen. To do that, go to "display properties--> settings--> advanced --> ATi Screens (at the top of the tabs to the left)"
Then, you turn ON the TV by clicking on the icon above the TV image
Secondly, you select the first icon it appears below the TV image (check screenshot) and click Apply. Now the video should be visible only on your TV not in Your T30.

Thankyou for you reply,

I still have yet to get it working. In the second step are you talking bout the icon that looks like a bulleye or the one that looks like two screens?
